The ingredients for this special cake are a stick of softened butter, 1 ½ cups sugar, two eggs, two tablespoons red food coloring, two tablespoons cocoa, 2 ¼ cups cake flour, a cup of buttermilk, a teaspoon of vanilla and a teaspoon of baking soda.

To make the frosting, you need ¾ cup butter, a pound of cream cheese, and four cups of confectioners’ sugar.

Procedures

Wash and prepare two baking pans and bowls. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Oil the baking pans and sprinkle with flour. Set the materials aside.

Place the sugar and butter in a medium-sized bowl. Use a mixer to cream the mixture. Combine the cocoa and red food coloring in a separate bowl.
