To make the food, you need 1 ½ cups dried pinto beans, 1 ½ cups dried kidney beans, and 1 ½ cups dried great Northern beans as main ingredients.

Additionally, the dish contains 14 cups water, ½ pound salt pork, a large onion, 1 ½ cups ketchup, 1 ½ cups brown sugar, three cups water, three teaspoons dry mustard, and three tablespoons molasses.

Chop the onion and bacon. Mince the garlic. Put the beans in a large pot. Heat the pot over medium fire. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
